Website archiving old radio programs

Shaun Saunders just let me know about this website. OldRadioFun.com - They have taken thousands of old time radio shows, but instead of just archiving them, the folks at OldRadioFun have assembled a compact disk library. Now if your like me, your thinking, oh wait, that don't work...cds only hold an hour. But it seems they have collected and stored the shows as mp3s which means that you get a tremendous amount of programming on each cd, up to 20 hours it seems on some. The sci-fi library is pretty well rounded. Some of the programs listed are X-Minus One', 'Exploring Tomorrow', 'British Sci-Fi' and 'Dimension X' just to name a few.
Worth a check out people.

Don't waste your money buying radio programs from them . . . They're availe for free from many sources including Archive.org
Many are certified by the OldTimeRadioResearchers which is a non-profit group dedicated to preserving our radio heritage. Get many of their certified sets for FREE here (just cut and paste the following address):

Hi Catfreak. As a general rule I would agree. I download most if not all content like you suggest. However for those that don't have the bandwidth and or want hard copy as well will like the efforts of the website. Considering the price and free shipping, they are not trying to get rich. But yes...if your comfortable burning your own cds and have ample bandwidth, its cheaper to just download your content.

Thanks for the imput
